The technical books machine translation can’t read —
diagrams and all.
Manuals, textbooks, and specs are full of labelled diagrams, tables, and figures that ordinary translation quietly drops. BabelPage translates the labels inside every diagram and rebuilds the page faithfully — in any language pair the AI understands, in either direction.

3.4 Rectifier Circuits
A rectifier converts alternating current to direct current. The half-wave rectifier uses a single diode.

The hard part, handled
Machine translation loses the diagrams. We translate them — and keep the whole page.
Diagram & figure translation
The part other tools skip: labels inside circuit diagrams, schematics, and figures — translated in place and re-fitted to the artwork. The BabelPage difference
Layout-preserving
Paragraphs, tables, captions, and page numbers land exactly where the source put them.
Any language, either way
Japanese → English, English → German, or any pair the AI understands. Set the source and target per project.
Claude refinement

Glossary & review
Pin a term once and it holds across the whole book; every page is quality-scored and flagged if it needs a look.

Watch a diagram translate — labels and all.
Ordinary translation leaves the figure in the source language. BabelPage reads the labels inside the diagram and rewrites them in place. Flip it:

One recognizable page treatment — from the original scan to the finished, translated edition.
The book is always the subject. Faithful pages, diagrams that read in the new language, accurate technical terms, and a result you can hand to someone else without a second thought.

Questions, answered
What counts as a scan vs a translation?
A scan is one captured, OCR’d page — cheap, and included generously on every plan. A translation is a page rendered into your target language, which uses the AI, so it’s metered more tightly. You can scan all day and only translate the pages you need.
Which languages does it support?
Any pair the AI understands — Japanese, Chinese, German, English and many more — in either direction. You set the source and target per project, including English into other languages.
Does it really translate diagrams?
Yes — this is the part other tools skip. Labels inside schematics, circuit diagrams, and figures are translated in place and re-fitted to the artwork, so the diagram reads in the new language.
How faithful is the layout?
Paragraphs, tables, captions, and page numbers stay where the source put them. You get a page-for-page PDF you can cite — not a wall of text.
Can I just use it as a scanner?
Absolutely — that’s what Free and Everyday are for. Scan, organize, and share; translate only when you need to.
Is my data private?
Your scans are yours — private by default and deleted when you remove them. We don’t sell or share your documents.
